HOW YOU CAN HELP

Financial Tax-deductible Contribution

Corporations, service groups or individuals can make a contributions. These can be made over an extended pledge period and all contributions will be acknowledged in the Museum. 

Sponsorship

Sponsoring an aspect of the museum will promote you or your business.  At this stage, you can sponsor an exhibit, completion of building, banners, etc.  Your contribution will be acknowledged within the museum.

In-kind Support

Volunteering your time and or expertise. Building a museum requires many skills. We will gratefully accept donations of time to assist the various sub-committees.

FUTURE VIABILITY

A comprehensive Business Plan has been written, complete with financial projections.

Tourists will be charged for visits, and although this is a not-for-profit community project, surpluses will be put back into developing the exhibits, constantly renewing them and making them continuously attractive to tourists. An extensive study of current regional tourism numbers and trends has been undertaken to help form the basis of this project.

THE BENEFITS OF SUPPORTING THE ADAMINABY SNOWY SCHEME COLLECTION

• Adaminaby will have a regional museum situated on the Snowy Mountains Highway in the centre of Adaminaby. The highway carries in excess of 800 cars per day, the majority being tourists, including many skiers. This will form an integral part of the Snowy Mountains tourism attractions.
  
• The increase in visitor numbers to Adaminaby will create numerous regional employment opportunities, and there will be a commitment to using local labour and services where possible in the construction phases.
  
• There will be a strong demand for accommodation and food during the construction phase, benefiting local businesses.
  
• The development of the Snowy Scheme Museum Adaminaby as an education resource, will complement the Snowy Hydro Visitors Information Centre and will showcase the construction phase of the Snowy Scheme and its unique and inspiring place in Australia's history.
  
• The museum will provide opportunities for a small country community to diversify its sources of income, to drought-proof itself, and to provide opportunities and guidance to young people from all backgrounds.
